Jose Candia

Jose V. Candia, 90, passed away on October 8, 2018 in Odessa, Texas. He was born on August 21, 1928 in Tabalaopa, Mexico.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 11 from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm. at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary will be said on Thursday, October 11 at 7:30 pm at the Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be held on Friday, October 12 at 10 am at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church with burial following at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Agapita Candia. He is also preceded in death by his sons Jesus Manuel Candia and Jose Candia, Jr.
He is survived by sons Rudy Candia and wife Sandra of Midland, Gabriel Candia and wife Valerie, Ralph Candia of Odessa, and Sergio Candia of Austin. He has six daughters, Esther Acosta and husband David, Yolanda Rayos and husband Dennis of Pecos, Alma Montoya and husband Tiodoso, Lilia Brown and husband Mike, Sandra Baquirin and husband Paul all of Odessa, and Lucy Yingling and husband Ken of Cincinnati, Ohio. Also, surviving is a brother Mariano Torres of Midland, and a sister Carmen Torres Bedolla of San Diego, CA. He also has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren also surviving.
