Jose Luis Gavaldon

Jose Luis Gavaldon, 68, of Ojinaga Chihuahua, passed away on 11-8-23 in Pecos

Visitation for Luis will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2023 from 11:00am- 9:00pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. 

Mass will be celebrated on  Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 10:00am at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church.

Luis was born in Ojinaga Chihuahua to Tito and Petra Gavaldon on June 27, 1955. He worked in the oilfield for many years. 
He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing pool, dominoes, and cards. Luis was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed working around town and helping those in need. 

Luis is preceded in death by his parents: Tito & Petra Gavaldon; his sisters:Maria lgnaciapp Jimenez, Maria De Los Angeles Mata (Hela), and Gloria Esther Sanchez; and one brother: Epigmenio Gavaldon. 

Luis is survived by his wife: MaryAnn R. Gavaldon; son: Luis Angel Gavaldon; daughters: Yadira Gavaldon, Lorina Gavaldon; step daughters: Maria Banda, Laura Maldonado, Sarah Orona, Nikita Mata, Kassie Medrano and Heather Cervantes; sisters: Bertha Aguilar, of Odessa; Cristina Munoz, of Pecos; Socorro Gavaldon, of Pecos; Maria De La Luz Reyes, of Odessa; Manuela Reyes, of Pecos, and Marisa Rodriquez, of Stanton. 

Pallbearers will be:  Tito Gavaldon, Pinpin Gavaldon, Sunny G. Matta, Epy Gavaldon, Jaime Aguilar Jr and Cristian G. Reyes.
