Julian Gomez

Julian G. Gomez, 96, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in Odessa, Texas at Medical Center Hospital. He was a Ward County employee, a Life time Barstow resident and a Catholic. He was born January 28, 1924 to Paz Gomez and Eusebia Gonzalez Gomez.

Julian Gomez, married the love of his life Refugia Pena Gomez.   He was a hard worker, loving and caring man, he loved collecting small rocks, and spending time with his family and friend.

Julian is preceded in death by his Wife; Refugia P. Gomez, Parents; Paz Gomez and Eusebia Chavez Gomez, Son; Lico Gomez I and Lico Gomez II, Brothers; Beto Gomez, Guerro Gomez , Chon Gomez, Trine Gomez, Augustine Chavez, Sisters; Maria, and Manuelita.

Julian is survived by his Son:Richard Gomez and wife Mireya, Daughters; Erlinda Martinez, Olga Valdez and husband Tomas, Irma Barrera and husband Esteban. and Brother Chele Gomez, 17 grandchildren, 38 Great-Grandchildren, and 45 Great-Great-Grandchildren

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 9 am to 4 pm. and rosary at 2 pm. at Pecos Funeral home Chapel in Pecos, Texas. Funeral Service will be held at Santa Rosa Catholic Church on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 10 am. Interment will follow at the Barstow Cemetery in Barstow, Texas.
