Lidia Perez

Lidia Chavez Perez 77, of Pecos passed away Monday May 10, 2020 at her residence. She was born May 28, 1942 in Barstow Texas to Anastacio and Christina Montez Chavez. She was a Christian Catholic and homemaker. She loved to cook, she would invite anyone, she loved crouching, sewing, a jokester, dancing and loved listening to all types of music. Lidia loved catching you off guard and hit you with tortilla dough, she loved talking on the phone, but most of all she loved her grandchildren. Mom you will be dearly missed
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Hector Perez, daughter Celia Flores, sons Rosario and Jerry Lee Flores,
Lidia is survived by her daughters Becky Mendoza and husband Miguel, and Susana Osborn and husband Carl all of Pecos, sons Roy Flores and wife Susana of Odessa, and Jerry Hernandez of Pecos, sisters Mary Chavez and husband Manuel Meza, Socorro Chavez and Paula Chavez all of San Angelo, and Bertha Gervacio and husband Joquin of Pecos.
Lidia also leaves to cherish her memory of 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Due to COVID – 19 visitations is set for 25 persons only Wednesday May 13, 2020 from 9am-4pm with prayer being recited at 2pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.
Graveside service are set for Thursday May 14, 2020 at 10 a. at Greenwood Cemetery with Father Jose De La Cruz officiating.
Social Distancing is recommended.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Avila, Steven Flores, Gary Lee Flores, Arturo Rodriguez, Roy Flores, Jerry Hernandez.
