Manuel Martinez Ortiz, 73 of Pecos, Texas. Passed away on August 5, 2022 in Pecos, Texas

Manuel was born in Pecos TX to Luz Martinez Ortiz and Albert “Beto” Quintana Ortiz on December 29, 1948. He went to Pecos High School; He was married to Celestina Bustamantes Ortiz. He worked as a filling station attendant; he also work at Kent Kwik for a couple of years. He was an Army Veteran and was honorably discharged from the service.

Manuel is preceded in death by his wife; Celestina Bustamantes Ortiz, parent’s; Luz M. Oritz & Albert “Beto” Q. Ortiz. Brother’s; Isreal M. Ortiz, Emilio M. Ortiz and Richard M. Ortiz. sister’s; Virginia M. Ortiz, Becky Ornelas, Rachael O. Natividad, and Sylvia O. Ybarra.

Manuel is survived by his sister, Erlinda Ortiz Garcia and Husband Willie H. Garcia of Pecos, Texas. Brother Gilbert M. Oritz and Wife Minerva Ortiz of Coleman, Texas

A Celebration of life will be held at Primera Iglesia Bautista on Saturday October 8, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Rey Carreon officiating. Burial will the follow at Santa Rosa Cemetery.
