Manuel Tersero Jr.

Manuel Tersero 75, beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle, and friend to many went to be with our Holy Father November 12, 2021.  He was born in Pecos, Texas on October 14, 1946 to Manuel and Eliza Tersero. He was well known and admired in the communities of Pecos and Hobbs, NM-where he and his family lived for 40 plus years.
Manuel worked in retail for many years-first as sales assistant manager in Pecos, where he was top salesman.  He was then promoted to manager of CR Anthony’s in Tulia, TX, and then in Hobbs, NM making both million-dollar stores.  After leaving Anthony’s, he went to Watson’s Truck and Supply as a car associate, where he worked for 17 years.
Manuel retired due to health issues and came to further enjoy spending time with his wife, two sons, and his Yorkie-Poo Phoebe.

He was preceded in death by his father Manuel Tersero, brother Edward Tersero, and Mother Eliza Tersero.

He is survived by his wife Delfa Tersero, and two sons Manuel III and Gabriel Tersero, sisters Becky Spencer, Crissy Urias, Amy Marquez, and JoAnne Tersero, numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces, and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Pecos Funeral Home November 29, 2021 1:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. with Rosary at 7:00pm.

Funeral Mass will be November 30, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. interment will be following the Funeral Service at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Pecos, Texas.

Mask are required both at the funeral home and church.

Memorial Service will be held Friday December 3, 2021 at 1:30pm in Hobbs, New Mexico at St. Helena’s Catholic Church at 1:30pm.
