Margarita "Margie" Natividad

Margarita (Margie) Ortega Natividad a beloved daughter, sister, mother, wife and grandmother passed away peacefully at her home on July 29, 2021, in Pecos, Texas.

Margie was 64 years old. She was born in Pecos, Tx to Trine and Rita Ortega on March 14, 1957. She went to school in Pecos. She married Eugene Natividad on November 5, 1999. Margie enjoyed crafting, gardening, drinking martinis and listening to Tejano music.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents Trine and Rita Ortega, her brother Robert Ortega, and her grandson Robert “Buster” Gomez.

Margie is survived by her husband Eugene Natividad of Pecos, daughter Michelle Cardenas and spouse Adan Cardenas of Midland, daughter Valerie Herrera and spouse Arturo of Pecos, daughter Joanne Salazar and acquaintance Oscar Morales of Austin, daughter Lyza Garcia and spouse Dentine Dominguez of Austin, daughter Amanda Garcia of Round Rock, stepdaughter Amanda Reid and spouse Bo Reid of Arlington and son Bryon Garcia of Amarillo. Margie is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Visitations will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, from 10 AM to 9 PM  and on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 9 AM to 9 PM. Rosary will also be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at 7 PM. Masks are required to be worn at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021, at 10 AM at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church. Mask are to be worn at church. Burial will follow at Greenwood cemetery. Reception will be held after burial at Reeves County Civic Center.

Funeral services are entrusted by Pecos Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
