Maria Chavez

Maria Del Socorro Chavez, 72, of Pecos was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on January 10, 2019 in Odessa.
Maria was born in Mexico to the late Micaela Rosales Bilbao-Jimenez (Chihuahua) on January 29, 1946.
She is survived by her spouse, Porfirio Chavez (Pecos); daughters, Sandra Cordero (Jesus Carmona) of Copperas Cove, Texas, Estella Munoz (Mariano Munoz) of Pecos, Juanita Chavez (Jorge Garcia) of Odessa, Maria Chavez (Eberardo Sanchez) of Odessa, Bertha Chavez (Freddie Rosalez) of Pecos, Daisy Chavez (Rafael Molina) of Odessa; and a son Jesus Cordero of Jimenez, Chihuahua. Also, surviving are 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and a Catholic. Visitation will be on Monday, January 14 and Tuesday, January 15 from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm. A rosary will be said on Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm. Mass will be on Wednesday, January 16 at 10 am at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church with interment following at Greenwood Cemetery.
