Maria Jaso

Maria Jaso, 80 , passed away on October 23, 2020. Maria was born on April 17, 1940 in Alpine, Texas to Seferino and Felipa (Carrera) Machuca.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Hilario C. Jaso, sons; Hilario Jaso Jr., Ruben Jaso, parents; Seferino and Felips Machuca, granddaughter; Heather Jaso, brothers; Vincent Machuca, Manuel Machuca, and sisters; Rosa Parras, Rita Ortega, and Josephine Machuca.

Maria loved having garage sales, playing bingo, scratching lottery tickets and going to the game rooms. She loved to make tamales for the family so they could enjoy them with menudo on Sundays. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son; Joel (Nora) Jaso, daughter; Becky (Sebero Jr) Jaquez, brothers; Lolo (Lily) Machuca, Jesus (Carmen) Machuca, Jose (Gloria) Machuca, sister; Yolanda (Ally) Alverez, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, neices, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 2:00 P.M. at Pecos Funeral Home, 607 W. 3rd Street, Pecos, Texas 79772. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Greenwood Cemetery, Pecos, Texas.

Due to COVID19 Pandemic, only 40 members of the immediate family are allowed in the funeral home for the visitation and Rosary. At the graveside friends are allowed however for all services masks and social distancing are required.
