Maria Chavez Juarez

Maria Juarez, 79 of Pecos, Tx passed away on December 13th, 2024 in Odessa, Tx. Maria Juarez was born in Candelaria, Tx to Juan and Manuela Chavez on April 30th, 1945. She attended school in Barstow, Tx. She married Ramon Juarez in Pecos,Tx. Maria was always a very hard worker. In her younger years she worked out in the fields with her family, & After marrying and having children Maria worked at Anchor Foods in Pecos for many years, along side cleaning homes and buildings for Pecos residents. After moving to Odessa with her youngest son she then started taking care of children for a few years before retiring. 

Maria is preceded in death by her husband Ramon Juarez, son Jerardo Juarez, parents Juan & Manuela Chavez, along with 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Maria is survived by her son Benito Juarez, sister Esperanza Abila, 2 granddaughters Mariana & Gabriela Juarez, & 1 grandson Luis Nunez

Pallbearers will be: Marcos Porras, Ricardo Gonzales, David Xavier Argumaniz, Baylen Argumaniz, Davian Argumaniz, & David Ortiz. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19,2024 from 10:30 am to 9 pm., with Rosary following at 7 pm.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 10 am at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, with Interment following at Greenwood Cemetery in Pecos, Texas.
