Maria C. Pena, 95 of Pecos, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 in Pecos.
Rosary will be held at 7:30 PM on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Pecos Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 AM Friday, June 5, 2015 at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church with Father Fabian Marquez officiating. Marias cremated remains will be buried at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Cemetery following the Mass. Arrangements are entrusted to Pecos Funeral Home
Maria C. Pena was born in Big Bend, Texas to Jose Isaac Carrillo and Francisca Dominguez on June 8, 1919. She was married to Fidel Q. Pena on October 3, 1941 in Balmorhea, Texas. Maria was involved in the Santa Rosa Catholic Church community for many years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Organization and a sta.
Maria is preceded in death by her husband Fidel Q. Pena, her daughter Lucy Pena; her parents Jose and Francisca five sisters and two brothers.
Maria is survived by her daughters Jesusita C. Pena, and Gloria Mirmomeni and her husband Mehdi. Maria is also survived by her grandson Mehdi Jon Mirmomeni and his wife Laura.
The family of Maria C. Pena wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Steven Serrano and staff, along with the nurses and staff at Reeves County Hospital. We would also like to thank Nurses unlimited and nurses express.
