Maria Louisa Sanchez, of Balmorhea, Texas passed away on November 22, 2019 in Odessa, Texas.

Rosary will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Balmorhea, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Balmorhea, Texas.  Burial will follow at Balmorhea Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.

Maria Louisa Sanchez was born in Mexico to Ysidro Montoya and Braulia Quintela on May 25, 1932.  She married Abel Sanchez on June 18, 1955.  Maria was a home maker and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was a devoted follower of our Lord and Savior.

Maria is preceded in death by her husband Abel Sanchez, brother Alejo Madrid and two sisters Christina Madrid Coronado and Francisca Guerrero.

Maria is survived by daughters Rosa Dominguez (Sammy) of Balmorhea, Texas, Barbara Prieto (Ramon) of Iraan, Texas, brothers Ysidro Montoya (Toya) of Ojinaga, Mexico and Chonito Montoya of Monahans, Texas.  Grandchildren Stephanie Tunstel (Robert) of Fort Worth, Texas, Sammy Dominguez (April) of Midland, Texas, Ramon Prieto (Kayla) of Brady, Texas, Michael Dominguez (Judy) of Odessa, Texas and Paul Prieto (Sofia) of Lubbock, Texas. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Sammy Dominguez, Ramon Prieto, Robert Tunstel, Paul Prieto, Michael Dominguez, and Alejo Madrid Jr.
