Matilde E Pena, 85, of Barstow, Texas, passed away on 19th day of January 2018 in Barstow, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Monday Jan 22, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.
Rosary will be at 7:30 pm Monday January 22, 2018 at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.
Mass will be held on Tuesday January 23, 2018, at 10am at Our Lady of Refuge in Barstow, Texas. Burial will follow at Barstow Cemetery.
Matilde E Pena was born in Barstow, Texas to the late Bernardo and Marie Elena Pena on March 14, 1932. He retired and was a Volunteer Fire Fighter out of Barstow, Texas.
Matilde E Pena is survived by his wife; Ramona J. Pena. Children; Luz Serrato (California), Ishmael H. Pena (Odessa,Tx), Josefina Gonzalez (El Paso,Tx), Elfida and Luis Almaguer (Waco, Tx), Bertha Ramirez (Clarksville Tennessee), Geneva and Alvaro Natividad (Pecos, Tx), Manuel and Maggie Pena (Fort Stockton, Tx), Rosalinda Pena (Fort Stockton, Tx), and Marie Elena Anchondo (Kermit, Tx). Step-children; Patricia and John Mitchel (Pecos, Tx), and, Anna and Domingo Sistos (Oklahoma), 31 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren. Brothers; Luis Pena, Emilio Pena, and Manuel "Magoo" Pena. Sisters; Juanita Muniz and Ernestina Natividad.
Services are under the direction of Pecos Funeral Home.
