Melissa Taylor

Melissa Louise Taylor, 93 of Pecos, Tx, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 in Pecos, Texas. Louise was born May 7, 1928 to James Murphy Hayhurst and Elsie Hayhurst on the Penasco River Otero County, New Mexico.

Louise Taylor was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Charlie Taylor. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, one brother, son Larry James Taylor, son in law Billy Ray Gholson, and grandson Charles Kelly Taylor.

Louise Taylor is survived by daughter Linda Gholson of Pecos, son Gary Taylor and wife Debbie of Grapeland, Tx., Randy Taylor and wife Mary of Pecos and Steve Taylor of Midland, Tx. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 12 great- great- grandchildren and many friends.

Viewing will be on Thursday February 17, 2022 from 5pm - 7pm at Church of Christ on 4th and Bois D' Arc in Pecos, Tx. and on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 9 am to 12 pm.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday February 18, 2022 at 2:00 pm with interment following service at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery  in Pecos, Texas.
