Monroe Donald Gordon, JR of Odessa TX passed away on March 20, 2015 in Upton County.
Visitation will be from 9:00am to 12:00pm on March 28, 2015 at Pecos Funeral Home, Pecos TX. Funeral services will be held on March 28, 2015 at 2:00pm at 1st United Methodist Church, Pecos TX with the Pastor Joe L Terry III of Greater St Luke Missionary Baptist Church, Odessa TX officiating. Burial will follow at Santa Rosa Cemetery, Pecos TX. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.
Monroe was born in Pecos TX to Monroe and Hattie Gordon on October 10, 1968. He attended school in Pecos TX and Sul Ross State University, Alpine TX. He married Kimberly Scott on May 13, 1995 in Odessa TX. He worked in the Oilfield with Plains All American Pipeline. Monroe was active in Men's Ministry at The Greater St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Odessa TX.
Monroe is preceded in death by Monroe Gordon Sr., Father, Grace Evelyn Scott, Mother in Law.
Monroe is survived by his wife Kimberly, sons Jaelin and JaColbe, Odessa TX, Zachary Gordon, Alabama, daughter Rebecca Krumnow, Odessa TX. Mother Hattie Gordon, Pecos TX , Sister Tammy Gordon, Lubbock TX , brother Clifford (Yolanda) Gordon, Odessa TX , Teisha Gordon, Odessa TX , and a host of Siblings. And a Grandson JaeBryn. Father in law William Andrello Scott, Post TX and LaDonna (James) Clark, sister and brother in law, Lubbock, TX. Grandmother Marjorie Horton of Pecos TX.
Pallbearers will be Clifford Gordon, Joe Ephriam, Lyle Ephriam, Shawn Scott, Dana Scott, and Shannon Scott
A host of Nephews and Nieces who loved him dearly.
