Newton Ted Painter

Newton Ted Painter, 77, passed from this earth May 31, 2024, in Odessa, Texas. Ted was born to Newt and Edna Painter on October 21, 1946 in Taylor, Texas. 
Ted was a graduate of Pecos High School, Texas University in Austin and Texas Tech Law School. He served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U S Army before attending law school. Ted was an avid Texas Longhorn fan and followed the Red Sox baseball team. He was a vivacious reader and lover of old movies. 
Ted is preceded in death by his parents Newt and Edna Painter, wife Kathy Painter, and brother Dan Painter. He is survived by his daughter Erin (Rob} Davis of Maui, Hawaii, sons Nick Painter of Houston and Darren Hatch of Arlington; granddaughter Ashley Davis; sisters Cookie Canon of Pecos and Kay Evans of Spring Branch, sister-in-law Kathy Painter of Midland and many nieces and nephews.
