Olga Ornelas

Olga M. Ornelas passed away on November 10, 2021, in Odessa TX, surrounded by family at the age of 71.

A Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm., Monday November 15, 2021, at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Mass is set for 10 am., Tuesday November 16, 2021, at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church.

She was born on June 17, 1950 in Marfa, TX to Jesse and Elisa Ornelas. She was blessed with 2 children and resided in Pecos her entire life. Olga was a woman of faith, a best friend, a warrior, and a protector. She loved her family fiercely and would also be there when needed. Olga enjoyed listening to music (Little Joe was her favorite), spending time with family and friends, cooking, and doting on her grandchildren.

Olga was preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Elisa Ornelas.

Survivors include: Children - Justin Ornelas of Yukon, OK., and Lindsay and husband Peiro Traverso of Surprise, AZ.

Grandchildren: Isaiah Ornelas of Pecos, TX., Holden Guffy of Enid, OK., Landon and Alyssa Traverso of Surprise, AZ.

Sisters: Helen and Jack Keen of Collyville, TX., Elizabeth and husband Lloyd Wright of Odessa, TX., and  Sally Orona of Pecos, TX.

Brothers: Jesse and wife Lorretta Ornelas of RSM, CA., Jerry and wife Anna Ornelas of Odessa, TX, Jeffrey Ornelas of Keller, TX., and James and wife Dianna Ornelas of Conroe, TX.

Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
