Olga Granados Urias

Olga Granados Urias, 82,  was born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico to Antonio and Juana Granados on November 25, 1942. She attended schools in New Mexico and was the oldest of eleven children. She married Roberto Venegas Urias in 1962 in Artesia, New Mexico and they had six children. She worked as a skilled seamstress for the Levi Jean Company in Pecos and after several different jobs, she retired from being head cook for the Reeves County Meals on Wheels Program. She devoted her time to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, being the best Grandma and Danda ever.

Olga is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, along with three brother, Ricardo, Ruben and Rodolfo Granados, and her grandson Robert Easi Urias.

Olga is survived by her daughters, Angie Urias and Aggie Urias Gabaldon, her four sons, Dagoberto & Michelle Urias, Roberto G Urias, Rigoberto Urias and Gilberto & Libby Urias, her sisters, Rosa Ornelas, Dora Gardea and Jane Granados, her brothers, Sefarino, Antonio Jr, Daniel and Hector Granados. Her twelve grandchildren, Barbara & Jaime Morales, Marissa Skye Gabaldon, Quinton Urias, Joe Jr Gabaldon, Xavier Urias, Yasmine Urias, Madalynn & Zachary Bowers, Stephen Urias, Gilbert J Urias, Jennifer Urias, Zechariah Urias, Phillip Urias and Fabian Garcia. Six great grandchildren, Kai, Aresmi & Dane Morales, Evan, Ava Lynn & River Bowers.

Pallbearers will be her grandson, Quinton Urias, Joe Jr Gabaldon, Stephan Urias, Gilbert J Urias, Phillip Urias, Fabian Garcia, Dane Morales & Jaime Morales. Honorary pallbearers Xavier Urias, Zechariah Urias and Evan Bowers.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with Rosary at 7:00 pm at Pecos Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, with Interment following at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery.
