Patrick Martinez

Patrick Anthony Martinez, 56, of Pecos, passed away on December 6, 2022 in Pecos Texas.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 starting at 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM; with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 PM at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be Celebrated, Tuesday December 13, 2022, at 10:00 am at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church with internment to follow at Mount Evergreen Cemetery.

Patrick, was born in Lubbock Texas to Octavio and Mercy Martinez on July 9,1966. He attended Pecos High School and later received his GED. He graduated from technical school with a degree in HVAC. He worked for various companies in his lifetime and was well known by many Pecos residents and businesses for his outstanding AC repair. Patrick was a jack of all trades and there was nothing he could not repair. As a child he would break and or take things apart just to see how they worked. Most time than not he put them back together. But what Patrick most loved and cherished in his life were all of his grandchildren. He was always the happiest when he was spending time with them. He enjoyed listening to classic rock music, and working on home projects.

Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Octavio Acosta Martinez, his maternal grandparents Emilia Franco and Juan Salas, and paternal grandparents Antonia Acosta and Celso Martinez. Patrick was also preceded by his niece, Chrysta Reynell Stone, and his grandchildren Matthew Israel Pinon, Jahzel Merari Pinon, and Hezekiah Ezra Pinon.
Patrick is survived by his son Robert Anthony Martinez and daughter in law Britney Zavala; daughter Stephanie Pinon and husband Israel Pinon; son Joseph Anthony Martinez; mother Mercy Salas Martinez; sister Melissa Martinez Sandoval, and sister-in-law Linda Sandoval; grandchildren Arianna Marley Martinez, MaryJane Louise Martinez, Harley Marie Martinez, Theodore Maurice, Israel Elijah, Emma Jade, Kristen Mikayla, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Eric Mendoza, Timothy Orona, Hunter Orona, Rene Inostroza, Bonifacio Garcia, Israel Ramirez.
