Peggy Martinez

Agapita "Peggy" Martinez, 53, of Pecos, Texas, passed away on August 16, 2023 in Odessa, Texas.

Agapita was born in La Feria, Texas to Fidencio Martinez and Josefa Sanchez Lopez on September 3, 1969.  

Agapita is preceded in death by her parents Fidencio Martinez and Josefa Sanches Carrasco and sister Connie Samaguey.

Agapita is survived by her husband Adan L. Tarango, Daughters; Lissette Sosa (Juan Sosa), Monica Rodriguez (Jose Luis Rodriguez), Sisters; Cecilia Santos, Josefina Samaguey, and Maria A. Rivas, Brothers; Ernesto Martinez and Bernardo Martinez. She is also survived by her Grandchildren; Nevaeh Rodriguez, Brianna Sosa, Jose Vicente Rodriguez, Juan R. Sosa, Elijah K. Rodriguez, Louis H. Rodriguez, Lucas J. Rodriguez and Nineveh V. Rodriguez.

Visitation will be held at Pecos Funeral Home on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 9am to 6pm with a Memorial Service at 5pm officiated by Pastor Mike Lucero.
