Prescilla Garcia

Prescilla Lara Garcia, of Pecos, passed away on November 15, 2022 in Pecos, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral mass  will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November, 22, 2022 at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mount Evergreen Cemetery.

Prescilla was born in Big Spring, Texas to Donaciano & Petra Lara on March 21, 1948.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Donaciano & Petra Lara, her two brothers Donaciano Lara Jr. and Oscar Lara, and sister Rebecca Prieto.

Prescilla is survived by her husband, Octavio Garcia, son Andrew & Marina Rodriguez, daughter Esmeralda Rodriguez, son Oscar & Salina Rodriguez, daughter Bianca & Isaac Abila, Leslie Garcia, Robbie Garcia. Sisters: Mary & Gilbert Carrillo, Olga & Herman Armendariz, Sulema & David Flores. Grandchildren: Justin & Hope Tarin, Maegan & John Lopez, Josh & Shelly Tarin, Jared & Kelsey Rodriguez, Ariana Abila, Mia Abila; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Justin Tarin, Maegan Lopez, Josh Tarin, Jared Rodriguez, Ariana Abila, Mia Abila. Honorary Pallbearers: John Lopez and Austin McCarty
