Ramiro Salazar

Ramiro Salazar, 70, of Pecos, Texas passed away on December 17, 2018 in Monahans, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 18 from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm and Wednesday, December 19 from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm at the Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary will be said on Wednesday, December 19 at 7:30 pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 20 at 10:00 am at Santa Rosa Catholic Church.
Ramiro Salazar was born in Alice, Texas to Hilario Salazar & Isabel B. Salazar on December 11, 1948. He went to school in Pecos and lived in Monahans, Texas after he retired. He married Frances Botello on May 25, 1994 in Burnet, Texas. He worked for the City of Burnet, Texas for many years until he retired.
Ramiro was preceded in death by his father Hilario Salazar, his mother Isabel B. Salazar; two brothers Hilario Salazar, Jr. and Noe Salazar; and one son Ramiro Salazar, Jr.
Ramiro is survived by his wife, Frances Botello of Monahans; two daughters Hazel Salazar of Odessa, Sandy Carrasco and husband Eric of Pecos; one son Mark Salazar and wife Erika of Pecos; three step daughters, Lori Botello, Melba Botello and Janie Botello; four step sons, Johnny Botello, Michael Botello, Danny Botello and Jody Botello; a brother, Alonzo Salazar, Jr.; sisters, Felma Gonzalez, Guadalupe Jaquez, Viviana Abila, Manuela Chavez.Twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren also survive
Pallbearers will be Mark Salazar, Alonzo Salazar, Sr., Noe Salazar, Eliazar Salazar, Alonzo Salazar, Jr. and Joseah Salazar.
