Ramon L. Natividad, 83, of Pecos, Texas, passed away on March 13, 2025, in Odessa, Texas.
Ramon was born on November 1, 1941, in Saragosa, Texas, to Eustaquio and Teodora Natividad. He married the love of his life, Rachel Salcido, in November 1963 in Pecos, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Ramon worked in various positions in the oilfield industry working in many states and overseas then later retired from Loffland Oil. After retirement, he continued working for PBTISD in the Transportation Department as a driver and mechanic.
Beyond his hard work, Ramon had a passion for mechanics, especially building and customizing lowrider cars. He took pride in his craftsmanship and loved working under the hood, bringing his creativity to life. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, cooking BBQ, asado and many other tasty meals, camping and hunting, making countless memories with family and friends. Ramon was known for his love of dancing, always ready to take the floor with Rachel or anyone willing to share a twirl. His infectious sense of humor and storytelling made him the life of any gathering—he never missed an opportunity to crack a joke and bring a smile to those around him.
Ramon is preceded in death by his parents, Teodora and Eustaquio Natividad, Grand-Daughter Samantha Natividad and son-in-law, Frank “Buster” Alvarado.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Rachel Natividad; daughter Annabel Alvarado of Lovington, N.M; daughter Irma Primeaux and husband Chris of Odessa; and son Steven Natividad and wife Charlene of Odessa. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Yvette Rhoades and husband Alex of Alto, N.M.; Christopher Alvarado of Lovington; Noah and DeeJahna Primeaux of Odessa; and Yahir and Josue Salinas of Lovington. Ramon was also a proud great-grandfather to Annalynn Rhoades and Kristopher Draco Alvarado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews to cherish his memories.
A Holy Rosary will be Recited on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church in Pecos, Texas. Mass will follow the Rosary at 2:00 pm, Officiated by Father Gabriel.
Ramon will be remembered for his love of family, his strong work ethic, and his ability to bring joy to those around him. His legacy will live on in the memories and laughter he shared.
Pallbearers will be: Frankie Salcido, Noah Primeaux, Mario Baeza, Sebastian Cedillo, Alvaro Natividad, Ishmael Natividad, Gabriel Acosta, Yahir Salinas and Josue Salinas.
