Randy Licon

Randy V. Licon, 55, of Pecos, passed away surrounded by his family on April 23rd in Pecos.  Randy was born in Odessa, TX to Sarah Vasquez and Tony Licon on May, 2 1965. He went to school in the Balmorhea/Pecos area. He married Tracey Ortega Licon on July 20,1991 in Pecos. He worked for TXDOT and the counties of Reeves and Ward for many years. He received his certification for the police academy from Odessa College in 2001. He also received an award for Sharp Shooter during that same time.

Randy is preceded in death by his father, Tony Licon and his grandparents, Fred and Fransisca Vasquez

Randy is survived by his wife, Tracey Licon. His children Julie and Alfredo Urias, Ronnie and Shelby Licon and Teresa Licon. His sisters, Rachel Barrera and Donna Tarin , his brother, Danny Tarin and his two brother in laws Sammy Barrera and Jorge Baeza. His mother Sarah Vasquez Tarin. His three granddaughters Aliyanna Urias and Rowan and Randi'lynn Licon.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Licon, Alfredo Urias, Julio Quinones, Sammy Barrera, Jorge Baeza, and Alex Rameriz.

The Viewing will be held Tuesday April 27th from 9 am to 8 pm at Peaceful Gardens Funeral Home .Rosary will be the same day at 6:30 pm.
Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. April 28th at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. On the day of the service family and friends are to be at the church at 9am, only the immediate family and pallbearers are to be at the funeral home, per the church request, mask and social distancing are required at all times.
