Rosa Renteria

Rosa Bernal Renteria, 71, of Odessa, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 in her home.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 7th, 219 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Wednesday, May 8th, 2019 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home in Pecos, Texas. Rosary will be Wednesday, May 8th, 2019 at 7:30 pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home, 116 W. 4th street, Pecos, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 9th, 2019 at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church in Pecos. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
Rosa was born in Acala, Texas to Anita and Ismael Bernal on January 6, 1948. She married Ramon Renteria in Odessa, Texas. Rosa was caring and generous. She loved to collect everything from jewelry and shoes to knick knacks & dolls. She loved to tend to her various plants, her flowers, and her growing garden. She was a very proud grandmother and made each of her grandchildren feel like the favorite. Rosa was also involved in her church group, de Colores, in the time that she lived in Pecos.
Rosa is preceded in death by her parents Anita Canas & Ismael Bernal, her son Antonio "Loni" Coria, Jr., her daughters Rosalba and Maria Ellena Coria and her brother Ismael Bernal, Jr.
Rosa is survived by her husband Ramon Renteria of Odessa. Her daughter Diana Rodriguez and husband Anastacio "Tacho" of Pecos, her daughter Gloria Sanchez and husband Hector, Jr. of Odessa, her son Angel Coria of Odessa, a stepson Francisco "Pancho" Coria and wife Ofelia from Pecos. She is also survived by siblings Raquel Bernal of Odessa, Jesus Bernal of Odessa, Hermelinda Ramirez of Allende, Coauhuila, Martha Marquez of Odessa, Manuel Bernal of Odessa, Tommie Arreola of Del Rio, and Norma Bernal of Odessa.
Her grandchildren Erica Granado and husband Arnulfo, III "Bam" of San Antonio, Crystal Rodriguez and husband Ron of San Antonio, Kary Mendoza and husband Aaron of Pecos, AJ Rodriguez and his wife of Odessa, Elizabeth Rodriguez and husband Juan of Odessa, Janet Mercedes and husband Antonio of California and Valerie and Maribell Sanchez of Odessa. She is also survived by her uncle Juan Hernandez of Pecos. Sixteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, also survive.
Pallbearers will be Anastacio Rodriguez, Hector Sanchez, Jr., AJ Rodriguez, Arnulfo Granado III, Ron Rodriguez, Sr. Aaron Mendoza, Juan Muro and Manuel Bernal.
