Rose Mitchell

Rose Lavern Mitchell 90, of Pecos, TX. Passed away on October 20, 2013, with her family by her side in Pecos, TX.
Visitation will be October 23, 2013 from 5pm to 8pm at Pecos Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at 11am Thursday, October 24, 2013 at First Baptist Church Pecos, TX with Rick Derrick officiating. Burial will follow at Bluff Creek Cemetery in Taylor County on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 2pm
Rose was born in Sylvester, TX to Dawson and Birdie McCain on July 15, 1923. She graduated from Noodle High School in May of 1941 and married Charles Mitchell of Winters, TX on November 26, 1947 in Abilene, TX
Rose was a loving wife and mother and grandmother who was involved in her church teaching Sunday school to young children for many years, and visiting those that were unable to attend church services
Rose is precede in death by her parents Dawson and Birdie McCain of, Noodle TX., and one sister Bonnie Ryhmes of Corpus Christi, TX
Rose is survived by her Husband Charles Mitchell, son Greg Mitchell and Daughter in Law Sharon Mitchell, one sister Juanell Ueckert of Kerrville, TX, and one granddaughter Salem Mitchell.
Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church or West of the Pecos Museum.
