Roy Saenz Meraz

Roy Saenz Meraz, 66, of Pecos, Texas passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 in Midland, Texas surrounded by his family. Roy was born in Pecos, Tx, on September 7, 1956 to Florencio Ynez Meraz and Cele Saenz Meraz. Roy was raised in Pecos and graduated from Pecos High School. He moved to Odessa, Tx. after graduation and lived there until his return to Pecos in 2013. He worked at Safeway, Walmart, and M and N Metals as a Salesman and as a truck driver.

Roy Saenz Meraz is preceded in death by his parents Florencio and Cele Meraz, grandmother, and two uncles.

Roy Saenz Meraz is survived by his sisters Geneva (Veva) Guerrero (Juan), and Rosemary Rivera and various Aunts and Cousins. three nieces Monica, Elizabeth, Bianca and one nephew Samuel.

Visitation will be held at Pecos Funeral Home on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 10:30 am to 9 pm.

Chapel Service will be held at Pecos Funeral Home on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 10 am, with Pastor Lee Serrano officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Pecos, Texas.
