Ruby Salcido

Ruby Salcido, 79 of Pecos, Texas passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 in Pecos.
Rosary will by Friday July 3, 2015 from 7:30 to 9:00 PM at Pecos Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday July 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church, with Father Fabian Marquez officiating. Burial will follow at Mt Evergreen Cemetery in Pecos.
Ruby was born in Kent, TX to Adolfo and Eva Carrasco on July 23, 1935. Ruby married Manuel R. Salcido. Ruby and Manuel were married for 62 years. Mrs. Salcido retired from Salcido Sand and Gravel were she worked with her husband. Ruby was a member of Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, Adolfo and Eva, her grandson Isaac Chavez, and sister Lupe Lara.
Ruby is survived by her husband Manuel and their six children; daughters, Suzanne and husband Butch Dominguez, Zane and husband Manuel Martinez, Sharon Salcido-Lewis, Sheryl Salcido and Willie Terry. Ruby is also survived by her sons; Russ and wife Peggy Salcido, Bruce and wife Belinda Salcido. Her Brother Bill Carrasco and her sister Elsie Rios; and 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive ruby.
Pallbearers will be her Grandsons Ray Martinez, Ian Dominguez, David Chavez, Devon Lewis, Owen Lewis and Ryan Salcido.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Ruby's great grandsons Sebastian Aguilar and Ruben Dominguez.
Memorials may be sent to Pecos Funeral Home. The family of Ruby Salcido would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to Fort Stockton Hospice, Dr. Cerna, and the Nurses at Reeves County Hostpital. The Family would like to also thank the Doctors and Nurses at Odessa Regional Medical Center.
