Silvia Zubia Carrasco

Silvia Carrasco Zubia, (62), of (Odessa , passed away on Thursday, August 31st, 2023 in Odessa, Texas.

 

Silvia was born in Mexico to Nolberto and Carolina Zubia on (January 17,1961).   She married Elias V. Carrasco on April 19th, 1980, in Las Conchas, Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico.  She supported her husband and family throughout her life, and assisted in family businesses in transportation and laundromat for many years.  Silvia had a kind and giving heart, assisting others in need. She enjoyed life with her family, living in La Escondida, Pecos, Presidio, Ojinaga, and more recently in Odessa, and she supported her husband’s dedication and passion for living on the countryside, in Rancho La Escondida, in Mexico.

 

Silvia is preceded in death by her husband, Elias V. Carrasco, and her mother, Carolina Zubia and Sister Blanca Zubia.   

 

Silvia is survived by her two children, Elias Carrasco Jr. and Carlos Carrasco, and daughter-in-law, Nelsy Carrasco.   She is also survived by her Father Nolberto Zubia, brothers and sisters, Agapito Zubia, Olga Baeza ,Socorro Zubia, Carol Muñiz, Nolberto Zubia, Ruben Zubia, Lilia Zubia, Miriam Zubia and nephews.

 

Pallbearers will be Edgar Zubia,Ruben Zubia Jr, Nolberto M. Zubia, Michael Muniz Z, Marco Antonio Muniz Z., Jordan Elijah Roman, Brian Fuentes, Joe Manuel Camacho

 

Visitation will be held starting at 9:00AM until service time on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel

 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor Ron Garcia.  Burial will follow at  Greenwood Cemetery .
