Sofia F. Ortiz of Pecos, passed away on June 8, 2014 in Pecos, Texas.

A viewing will be held on Monday night June 9, 2014 at the Pecos Funeral Home from 5pm to 8pm

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 7:30pm and Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 10am at the Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joseangel Morales Pastor of the Alpha and Omega Temple officiating. Burial will be following the Wednesday morning service at Mount Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.

Sofia was born to Marcelo and Asvelia Rodriguez in Sierra Blanca Texas, on February 23, 1938.

Sofia is preceded in death by her parents Marcelo and Asvelia and her daughter Leticia Rodriguez.

Mrs. Ortiz is survived by her exhusband Ramon Ortiz, sons Gilbert Rodriguez Sr., Ramon Ortiz Jr., daughters Ruby Apodaco and husband Ernest, Maria and husband Samuel, and ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren

Pallbearers will be, Ramon Ortiz Jr, Gilbert Rodriguez Sr., Chris Salcido, Anthony Flores, Gilbert Rodriguez Jr., Damion Rodriguez
