Sulema Rodriguez Cook, 64, passed away on Saturday October 11, 2014 in Pecos Texas.

Rosary will be held on Tuesday October 14, 2014 at 7:30pm at the Pecos Funeral Home in Pecos, Texas. Mass will be held at 10am Wednesday October 15, 2013 at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church and burial will follow at Mount Evergreen Cemetery.

Sulema Rodriguez Cook was born in Pecos, Texas on October 14, 1949. She attended Pecos High School and was married to her husband Benito Vela for 20 years. Sulema was a resident of Fort Stockton, TX where she worked as a CAN for Nurses Unlimited for over 20 years. Sulema Cook was full of life, she loved her husband and kids, had a funny sense of humor, she loved to dance, she enjoyed dressing glamorously with the best perfumes and makeup and her favorite color was red. Sulemas grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Sulema Rodriguez Cook is preceded in death by her mother Carlota Rodriguez and father Bernardo Rodriguez both of Pecos, TX.

Sulema Rodriguez Cook is survived by Husband Benito Vela of Fort Stockton, TX. Her children daughters Betsy Natividad of Kermit, TX Jennifer Cook of Pecos TX. and son Tony Montanez Jr. and wife Criselda of Pecos, TX.. Sulema has four sisters Yolanda Carrasco, Irma Abila, Anita Zubeldia all of Pecos, TX. and Linda Aguilar of Dallas, TX.. Sulema has 10 beautiful grandchildren Heather Monique Ramirez, Jimothy Natividad, Lindsay Tarr, Natalie Natividad, Anthony Montanez, Jesse Montanez, Jazmin Montanez, Chris Machuca, and Angelina Machuca. Sulema also had four great grandchildren Carlie Ramirez, Eli Ramirez, Aliyah Montanez, and Brody Montanez.

Sulema Rodriguez Cook will be missed dearly by her family and friends as she was truly one of a kind.
