Sylvestre Carrasco

Silvestre C. Carrasco, 81, of Pecos, Tx. passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023in Odessa, Tx. Sylvestre was born in Barrancos De Guadalupe, Municipio De Ojinaga, Chihuahua Mexico on January 1, 1942 to Joaquin Carrasco and Petra Carrasco. He was retired from Reeves County Road & Bridge. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a devoted Cristian. He had a passion for working on vehicles, passion for mechanic work. Sylvestre never met a person that he would consider a stranger. Looking after his family was his top priority, he will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Sylvestre C. Carrasco is preceded in death by hi parents; Joaquin and Petra C. Carrasco, and brother; Manel Lozoya.

Sylvestre C. Carrasco is survived by his spouse Hermila Carrasco, daughters Anita Carrasco, Blanca Unruh (Walt), sons; Sylvestre S. Carrasco Jr., Luis Carrasco (Teresa), sisters; Viviana Minoz, Aurora Carrasco, brothers; Pablo Carrasco, Javier Carrasco, Jaime Carrasco, Mario Carrasco, and Jesus Carrasco, sisters; Consuelo Carrasco, Gomisinda Sanchez. Granddaughters; D'dra Almuina, Desiree Almuina, Melissa Fuentes, Clarice Carrasco, Chelsea Carrasco, grandsons; Michael Almuina, Cesar Jr. Fuentes, Luis Carrasco Jr., great grandsons; Isaiah Carrasco, Elijah Vijil, great granddaughters; Sofia Almuina, and Esmaiah Carrasco.

Pallbearers will be  Silvestre Carrasco Jr, Luis Carrasco, Luis Carrasco Jr., Walt Unruh, Michael Almuina, Cesar Fuentes Jr.

Visitation will be held at Pecos Funeral Home on Friday, July 28, 2023 from 9 am to 9 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm.

Funeral Service will be held at Iglesia Emmanuel on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 10 am interment will follow at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Pecos, Tx.
