Sylvia Herod, 57, of Odessa, Tx passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023 in Odessa, Tx. Sylvia was born on October 17, 1964 to Jesus Hernandez and Angela Munoz Hernandez in Pecos, Tx.

Sylvia Herod is preceded in death by her mother Angela Hernandez, brothers Isreal Hernandez (Indio), Ruben Salas, and sister Diana Salas.

Sylvia Herod is survived by her spouse Bobby Herod, sons Benito Juarez Jr. ( Bernadette) of Austin, Tx., Hipolito Paul Juarez of Sweetwater, Tx., Michael Juarez (Monica) of Sweetwater, Tx. and Step Daughter Bensiha Coleman, sister Norina Rodriguez (Reyes Rodriguez) of Pecos, Tx., brothers Jesus Hernandez Jr. of Odessa, Tx., Joel Hernandez (Edith) of Fort Stockton, Tx., 15 grandchildren 3 Step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 niece and 6 nephews.

Pallbearers will be; Piffy, Tony, Bobby, Woofy, J Jo, Jesse, Richard, and Bob.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Pecos Funeral Home from 9 am to 9 pm with Rosary at 7 pm.

Funeral Mass will be on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 10 am at Santa Rosa Catholic Church.
