Sylvia Ann Jacquez, 60, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in Midland, Tx. Sylvia was born February 19, 1964 to Manuel L. and Rosa G. Jacquez. Sylvia was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt. She had a very sweet caring disposition, and a huge and loving heart. She always had a smile for everyone. Sylvia's greatest joy were her beloved niece and nephews... And later on, her beloved great nieces and nephews. She derived great joy from being around them. Sylvia endured many health issues in her life, that left her unable to completely care for herself. To become more independent, she moved into a group home in Del Rio, Tx. Throughout her life, she lived in several group homes in different areas. She finally settled in at Rock House in Odessa, Tx for several years before her passing. In spite of her health issues, she never let it diminish her love, joy, and kindness. Sylvia loved her Lord, had immense faith, and always had her rosary and prayer books close by.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her her beloved parents, Rosa and Manuel. Her beloved nephew and niece, Pascual Sanchez, Jr. and Monica Sanchez Carrasco.
Sylvia is survived by her sisters. Delma Sanchez (Pascual), Midland, Tx. Virginia J. Navarrete (Evigael), Pecos, Texas. Nephews - Joseph Sanchez (Joyce), Midland, Tx. Daniel Sanchez (Azrial), Odessa, Tx. E. Jaymes Navarrete (Mari), Pecos, Tx. Great Nephews Jonathan Carrasco, Jonah Vasquez, Daniel Sanchez, Jr., Patrick Sanchez, Samuel Sanchez, and Adriel Baez... Great Nieces Ariana Sanchez, and Aislyn Navarrete.
Pallbearers will be Pascual Sanchez, Joseph Sanchez, Daniel Sanchez, E. Jaymes Navarrete, Alvaro Natividad, and Joey Natividad.
Visitation for Sylvia will be held on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Pecos Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024, at Saint Catherine De Siena Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m.
Internment will follow the mass at Greenwood Cemetery.
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away." Revelation 21:4
