Tony Mendoza

Tony Jaso Mendoza gained his wings on September 29, 2023 in Odessa,
Texas surrounded by his family.

He was born on August 10, 1959 in
Pecos, Texas to Victorio and Alexandra Mendoza. Tony was a long-life
resident of Pecos. He played baseball and was one of the best known
pitchers in town. He worked in the oil field for many years and was a
kind-hearted man who would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed singing
to and listening to mariachi. He was an amazing cook and loved to cook
out for his family at their get-togethers. Wonderful memories were
shared during these times. Tony was a GOOD man. His memory will
forever be cherished by his loved ones. He will truly be missed.

Tony is preceded in death by his father Victorio Licon Mendoza and
sister Mary Lou Perez. He is survived by his mother, Alexandra
Mendoza; his wife, Patsy Mendoza, daughter Elise Rodriguez and son
Billy Joe Rodriguez (Christina) of Snyder; his daughter Rocio Davila
(Pablo) of Odessa; his brother Rudy Mendoza (Juanita) of Odessa; and
his sisters Nina Reyes (Mario), Patsy Calderon (Paco), Linda Chavez
and Ester Mendoza (Jimmy).

He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter and
numerous nieces and nephews whom he enjoyed their visits.

Visitation will be held for Tony on Tuesday, October 2, 2023 from 1:00 pm-9:00 pm at Pecos Funeral Home.

A Rosary will be recited at Pecos Funeral Home on Tuesday,  October 3, 2023
at 7pm.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 3, 2023 at 10:00 am at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church in Pecos, Texas.
