Victoriano Juarez

1933 — January 1, 2021

Barstow, Texas

Our King, beloved husband, father, grandfather, Victoriano “Pole” Juarez Sr., 88, of Barstow, Texas gained his angel wings on Saturday, December 11, 2021, in Pecos, Texas. Pole was born in Barstow, Texas on February 22, 1933, to Tereso and Juana Talamantez Juarez. Wedding bells could be heard January 27, 1951, when he married the love of his life, Ofelia Almanza. Soon after, the expansion of the Juarez family began and together they raised eleven beautiful children. Pole worked for Ward County for 15 years as an equipment operator.

Pole was the most generous, loving, reliable, hardworking man, not to mention the biggest animal lover anyone could have ever met. He would take in any and every animal he could find; making sure they were all well fed, during the winter that they were kept warm (maybe even a little too warm, OOPS!!!) and during the summer that they had plenty shade and lots of water to keep cool. Pole was an active member of Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in Barstow. He also loved the outdoors; he loved camping and fishing but most of all, he loved the time he was given to spend with family. He is loved immensely and will truly be missed!

Pole is preceded in death by his parents, Tereso and Juana Juarez; brothers, Guadalupe Juarez and Francisco Juarez; sons, Hipolito Juarez, Victoriano Juarez, Jr., and Danny Juarez; grandson, Joseph Juarez; great grandson, Aron Juarez, and great granddaughter, Jahnessa Juarez.

Left on Earth to cherish his memory are his loving, beautiful wife of 70 years, Ofelia Almanza Juarez; sons, Joe Juarez and wife, Jana, Benny Juarez, Israel Juarez and wife, Ramie, Ismael Juarez and wife, Rosalba, Johnny Juarez and wife, Robin; daughters, Olga Mendoza and husband, Joe; Irene Juarez and husband, Beto, Rachel Juarez; brother, Tereso “Tito”Juarez, Jr. and wife, Gloria; 26 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, 9 great great-grandchildren; and numerous amount of family and friends.
