Virginia Barraza Barrera

Virginia Barraza Barrera 81, of Pecos, Tx., was called home on Saturday, January 20, 2024 surrounded by her family. Virginia was born on November 18, 1942 in Pecos, Texas to Marcos and Juanita Barraza. She married Esteban A. Barrera on March 7, 1957, she was a devoted Catholic. She worked as a cafeteria worker for many years, she enjoyed listening to all kinds of music, dancing, and getting together with friends and family.

Virginia Barraza Barrera is preceded in death by her parents Marcos and Juanita Barraza, sister Elva Lopez, and daughter Nancy Sanchez, and nephew Orlando Lopez.

Virginia Barraza Barrera left to cherish her memories are Son; Esteban (Irma) Barrera Jr., of Pecos, Texas, Marcos Barrera, Mario (Jenny) Barrera of El Paso, Texas, daughters; Veronica (Jimmy) Garcia of Odessa, Texas, and Isabelle Barrera (Jesse Nunez) of Odessa, Texas, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Pecos Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 1 pm. to 9 pm. with Rosary at 7 pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church at 10 am., with Interment following at Greenwood Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Garcia, Jacob Barrera, Jason Barrera, Ramiro Garcia , Rey Loera, Jay Navarrete
