William Davidson

William Traylor Davidson, 96 of Pecos, passed away on May 2, 2018 in Odessa, Texas. He was born on October 27, 1921 in Mt. Olive, Illinois to parents Ellis McClelland Davidson and Leta Traylor Davidson. In 1940, he graduated from high school in Raymond, Illinois. He joined the Army Air Corps in 1941 and served 4 years and 8 months. He married Marguerite Dunham on October 3, 1942 in Electra, Texas. He worked for Texaco from 1945 to 1985. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pecos, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Marguerite; one daughter Nancy Geyes and her husband Carl; two grandsons, Brad and his wife Rosey Geyes and Todd Geyes and his fianceé Nikol; and one great granddaughter Gwendalyn Rose; and one sister in law Ruth Dunham.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Merrill and Dale Davidson.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 10 am at the First Baptist Church in Pecos with Dr. Kevin Mitchell officiating.
Services are under the direction of Pecos Funeral Home.
