William "Bill" Rodriguez

William Dominguez Rodriguez, 89, of Pecos, died Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Medical Center Hospital, in Odessa, Tx.  William was born June 25, 1931 in Fort Davis, TX to George Rodriguez and Juliana Dominguez Rodriguez. He was a lifetime Pecos resident and a Catholic.

He loved dancing and country cruising with his wife. He was loving and hard working husband, father and grandfather. He was known to many in the community as Bill, and many enjoyed seeing and talking to him, as he was the type to always smile and loved to make others laugh with his stories and jokes.

William is preceded in death by both parents, George and Juliana D. Rodriguez; his wife Virginia R. Rodriguez; three Daughters; Delma R. Lozoya, Corina Rodriguez, Mary Alice Rodriguez; Two grandsons; Jesse Rodriguez and Rocky Lozoya; and 15 siblings.

Survivors include two sons; Willie Rodriguez of Monahans, Tx. David Rodriguez of Pecos, Tx.; two daughters Joann Esquivel of Pecos, Tx. Mary Ann Rodriguez of Odessa, Tx., and one sister Maggie Rodriguez of Fort Davis, Tx. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Pecos Funeral Home on Monday April 26, 2021 fro 9am to 8pm with Rosary at 6:30pm. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday April 27, 2021 at 10am, at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church, only immediate family, pallbearers will be at the funeral home on the day of the service the rest will need to be at the church by 9am so they can be seated. Mask and social distancing are required at all time both at church and funeral home with burial following after at Greenwood Cemetery.
